Getaway to Bundeena – Casuarina Beach House

by Kylie Emans on August 14, 2012

Some I love Cronulla fb likers recently went to Bundeena on a girls weekend and have not stopped raving about the holiday house they rented, said I must share! This group of girls goes somewhere every year – Berry, Hunter Valley, Mollymook etc! This time, wanting to stay a bit closer to home they booked Casuarina Beach House at Bundeena. Being seasoned weekend getawayers,  the group ordered food for the weekend from Black Olive at Bonnet Bay so they could maximise their time relaxing and pampering and catching up on gossip while their husbands and children had to fend for themselves at home…

Architecturally designed by award winning Tom Ferguson, the house faces north onto Bundeena Creek and is a quick walk from Bundeena’s main beach. It was a sunny weekend 2 weekends ago so looking over the gardens and the creek watching ducks go by while sipping on champagne was a tough job for the girls.

Extremely private the house features 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a huge living/kitchen with all the facilities for a week/weekend of eating, drinking and relaxing. Two large timber decks surround the northern side of the house including an outdoor covered lounging and BBQ area in addition to the resort style sun loungers on the open deck. The entire living space can be opened up to the outdoors by pushing back the full height glass sliding doors for a complete inside/outside experience.

Hearing the waves from the main beach was enough for these girls as would you believe they didn’t leave the house the whole weekend!

The house is currently available for short term holiday rentals. http://www.stayz.com.au/81785
