Tell us a little bit about your business
I established TasTeeTreats4U in 2011, and I’m working from my small –registered- home kitchen in South Cronulla. TasTeeTreats4U designs and creates a wide variety of cakes, cookies and cupcakes for every occasion. From handcrafted sugar flowers, to fun patterns and decorations, all hand sculpted to meet my customers’ needs.
Are you an online business?
I operate online and offline. Customers can select cakes and cookies as well as provide their email for special requirements.
How long have you been in business for?
I established TasTeeTreats4U in 2011 after being the official cake baker for all family events for years. As I have always had a passion for decorating and love for baking I was encouraged to turn this into a small business.
What is your favourite order?
I love making all sweets really, but if I had to choose a favourite I would have to go for the cookies, they are so much fun to make and decorate!
What’s the longest time you’ve taken to decorate a cake?The longest time to make and decorate a cake was a few days. The cake was for a 30th birthday and it was shaped in the number 30. It was a large cake that required a lot of tiny sugar flowers, making them only required at least 8 –10 hours of work to complete!
Have you had any cake disasters?
Luckily no disasters and hope this question doesn’t put a jinx on me!
Do you live in The Shire?
I live in South Cronulla and have been here for quite a few years now. Originally from Hungary, back then I decided to see a bit of the world and came to visit OZ. I simply fell in love with the place and am still here after almost 9 years.
What is your favourite place in Cronulla?
Love strolling along The Esplanade up to Bass and Flinders Point and admiring the beauty of the place as often as I can!
‘I Love Cronulla’ because….
It has everything from the beautiful beaches to the best cafes and restaurants all close by.
